Beautiful Gustavian writing table desk from the second half of the 19th century with stunning patina in a grey white painted finish with the usual marks of age. It has a lovely feel.
The sides and front under the top feature the classic Gustavian ribbing and the legs are also decorated with vertical fluting, topped with rhombus-shaped decorations and a rhombus design also decorates the drawer. The back of the table has a plain finish , which allows it to be placed against a wall if required.
The Gustavian table which is perfect for daily use or as an exhibition piece features a brass handle/knob on the drawer.
