Rare Antique Gustavian console writing desk with double drawers circa 1850-1870 in good condition and very unusual. The finish is a grey white paint that is nicely and elegantly distressed with age.
Classic example of a period Gustavian table with two central drawers rather than a single one and with a wonderful patina and all the usual marks of age.
It features exemplary Gustavian ribbed detail and fluting on the legs and brass handles / knobs on the drawers
