An unusual Chinese gray pottery pouring vessel, he, Warring States or early Han Dynasty, circa 4th – 3rd century BC, China.
The pouring vessel, called a he, is supported by triangular tripod feet. The compressed globular body with a wide opening to the top, and a long, angled spout rising from the shoulder.
The pouring vessel, he, is undecorated, leaving the gray pottery body exposed. Now with soil accretions and stains.
